To ensure its consumers of the safety and quality of imported goods,the Government of Uganda through the Uganda National Bureau of Standards has re-instated from 3rd
December 2012 a series of guidelines known as a Pre-Export Verification of Conformity to Standards Program(PVoC)
The PVoC is the implementation of new import program execution on the current requirements, aims to verify that all controls products conform to the birds of the and other accepted standards. Every consignment of regulated products exported to Uganda require a Certificate of Conformity (CoC).
