Descriptio:

A BESC (Bordereau Électronique de Suivi de Cargaison) certificate is required

for all shipments going to Cameroon.

Docs required:

  • Bill of Lading – aDraft copy can be used forthe draft.
  • Commercial Invoice – Incoterm, reference, and the date have to be mentioned.
  • Freight Invoice – It has to be provided if the freight value is not mentioned on the commercial invoice.
  • Import Declaration – Importer hasto provide it. PR code and

Tax payer’s ID of the importer is enough to proceed. (below

details are required fromthis document)

oSGS number- start with SGS

Notes:

INSTRUCTIONS for Cameroon BESC certificate are as follows:

● ECTN

(BESC) must be presented to the CNSC (Cameroon National Shippers

Council) within 5 days after the departure and 5 days before the vessel

arrives to the port.

● Shipping or arrival without BESC or false information

in ECTN results in a fine of an amount that is equivalent to 2X the cost of

the BESC, plusthe regularisation charge determined by CNSC. Click the
